The Importance of Listening

Active Listening is perhaps one of the most important skills that we as individuals can learn and practice. The Chinese symbol for “Listening” consists of “Ear”, “Eyes”, “Undivided Attention” and “Heart”.

This morning I received some really great feedback from a reader through the Anonymous Feedback Form I created:

I’m loving the concept of this blog, I’m sure it’ll be on the list of my morning reads. One thing though, the “email options” page is not scaling correctly on Google Chrome, the text doesn’t zoom with the rest of the elements of the page. It’s working correctly on Firefox. Both browsers are updated.

Thank you and keep up the great work.

Wonderful feedback – and really, really critical for me to know because I’m working to make this blog as tablet, mobile and browser-friendly as possible. What the reader is referring to above is a fairly simple fix to the site’s CSS stylesheet and I’ll make the change this week.

Do you practice Active Listening in your day to day life? If so, share some of your learnings in the comments area below!

All the best,

Adam
